Norma Jean Bartley, 75, of Greencastle, died at Putnam County Hospital on July 2, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She was born August 14, 1941 in South Bend, Indiana.  She graduated from Sunnymeade High Sch0ol in Sunnymead, California.  She married Marlin Bartley on October 7, 1957.  She lived a military life with her husband for over 20 years and then went to work at Mallory Capacitor for 10 years and retired in 1995.  She then spent the rest of her life inspiring her whole family and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Debra McShanog in 2004.  Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Marlin Bartley; son, Tony Bartley (Debbie); daughters, Candacce Benson and Lori Bartley; Grandchildren, Brandy, Bobby, Brianna, and
Rose; as well as many nieces,nephews and great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, donations, may be made to American Cancer Society.
